It has been soooooo very long since I posted anything here. Last post was in 2015! And I have this article in ‘draft’ for more than a year. Might as well publish it though most probably, many things have changed because I know that my admiration for the products remains the same. So, though it was not easy for me to get to Claire Organics at One Utama, when the opportunity came during Raya last year, I made sure that it became one of my must-go destinations.
Truly it was a lovely experience to personally witness and touch the many wonderful products created under the banner of Claire Organics, a local producer of skincare products that are made using only natural ingredients. The founder, Louise Chong started Claire Organics out of concern and love for her family. And after merely a few years, the product range has expanded tremendously to include soaps, creams, essential oils, perfume oils, etc.
Natural Handcrafted Soaps
Have you tried any of Claire Organics’ natural, hand-crafted soaps? Soaps are the things that started the enterprise – bar soaps made from breast milk. Then, after she began sharing her natural handmade soaps and home remedies, which received positive feedback and demands, everything kicked off. Among the soaps are patchouli anti-eczema soap, calendula baby care soap, rosehips anti-aging soap, avocado hydrating soap, etc.
Heavenly Scented Oils and Fragrance-Free Perfumes
Above are their range of essential oils, perfume oils and aromatherapy diffusers. Those little bottles of EO can last quite a long time because we only need to apply a few drops to make massage oil or if we want to diffuse. And if you drop by their counter, you would probably also be able to experience the DIY session.
Up above are the DIY aromatherapy perfume corner where customers get to create their own blend of perfume or skincare using those ingredients. Personally, I have bought some essential oils and carrier oil from Claire Organics. Really love them! You can read about it here. Now, let’s have a closer look at the lovely aromatherapy perfume oils – ‘Enchant’ and ‘Inspire’.
Aren’t they enchanting?
Referring to the FB Page, Enchant consists of:
Golden Jojoba Oil, Organic Herbs, Essential Oil Blend and Love (crisp notes of Citrus and earthy tinge of Lavender interlaced with charming blossom Rosy, for love and romance)
While Inspire is made of:
Jojoba Oil, Organic Herbs, Essential Oil Blend and Love (juicy notes of Bergamot and earthy tinge of Lavender, for focus and inspiration)
Both are tempting for me. I have to try them out one of these days, soon.
Baby-Safe Creams & Lipbalms
Besides the aromatherapy section, I also had a look at their display of creams and lip balms. As a satisfied user of Claire Organics products, I have written about some of my wonderful experience in this blog and also mentioned in my other blog, DuluLainSekarangLain. My favourite cream is Luscious Cocoa.
After going through all the trouble of researching, asking around and pestering Claire Organics FB admins for directions (thank you for being so accommodating and kind!), and after urging Hubby to accompany me to their counter and helping me with the shots, you didn’t think I was going to leave empty handed, did you?
Look at all these beauties that I brought back to Kota Kinabalu – aren’t they gorgeous?
My must-have Luscious Cocoa Body Balm, Anti-Wrinkle Herbal Balm, Eczema Soother Healing Cream and Anti-Acne Pumpkin Seed Facial Scrub. Yup, I took home those, and also some free gifts.
Claire Organics Anti-Acne Pumpkin Seed Facial Scrub is made of:
Organic Molasses, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Avocado Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Essential Oil Blend
At RM42 per bottle, and only used about once or twice a week, I can attest that it really lasts a long time. Fyi, I also occassionally use it as body scrub. Among others, it helps to clean, regenerate and brighten the skin. It’s uses and benefits are too many to mention here, but if you want to read more, please visit Claire Organics FB page.
Those little candies are sample soaps given for free with my purchase. And for scooping out the pumpkin seed scrub, I got that adorable wooden spoon! I wished I had more moolah $$$, I would have also purchased the perfume oils.
Another thing that I love about Claire Organics is the simple packaging. It looks so elegant that I feel ‘sayang‘ to use it for other purposes. But I can’t let it rot so, of course I carried it to many places for show!
So, if you want to look at their many other current products, you can view here. Sometimes, during special occasions, Claire Organics also comes up with special editions of their products and promo offers, so do follow their FB page for news and updates.
At that time, Claire Organics counter in One Utama was located between Dockers and Poh Kong stores, at the Ground Floor. Now, I think it’s here: Opika Organic Market & Restaurant, LG Old Wing, Food Street (near SenQ), Bandar Utama LG105-LG106, Lower Ground Floor, One Utama Shopping Centre, 1, Lebuh Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
